KCR sacks Deputy CM T Rajaiah

In the wake of reports about his functioning and failure to take preventive measures to stop the outbreak of swine flu in Telangana, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday sacked Deputy CM and Health Minister T Rajaiah from his cabinet. This move sent a strong indication that corruption and inefficiency willn't be tolerated.
KCR made minor changes in the portfolios of his cabinet ministers. He also inducted Warangal MP Kadiyum Srihari as a Minister into his cabinet.
Governor ESL Narasimhan's office Raj Bhavan issued a statement confirming removal of T Rajaiah from council of ministers with immediate effect.
Swine Flu claimed the lives of 22 people in Telangana till date. Numerous cases has been reported in the month of January and hence KCR took some tough decisions.
