PepsiCo, Global food and beverage giant, decided to set up its biggest Indian largest manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh. The Company's Chairperson and CEO Indra Nooyi declared PepsiCo will source mango pulp from the state for using it in its products. She states the target is to make AP the National hub for sourcing mango pulp and about 32,000 farmers will get benefited by 2020.

Indra Nooyi announced PepsiCo is investing Rs 1,200 crore on the manufacturing plant in AP. He is hopeful that thousands of jobs will be created and 1/4th of the employees will be women.

PepsiCo AP Unit will be spread over 86 acres in Sri City. As of now, This Global Company have 37 beverage and three food plants in India.

On Friday, Indra Nooyi visited Tirumala to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji. She was accompanied by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.
