Vishwa Hindu Parishad's (VHP) president Pravin Togadia heats temperatures with a speech that targeted Muslim community.Togadia addressing the gathering said Hindus could no longer be silent on conversions.The VHP leader observed HinduÂ’s will celebrate it only when a Ram Temple is made in Ayodhya.
He has stirred a controversy with remarks that every child is born a Hindu.He asked all converted muslims to change their religion as Hindu.He further demands the government to either ban religious conversions or allow them to go ahead with re-conversion programmes.He demands government to announce India as Hindu country.
‘’Every child is a born hindu.I am asking all converted muslims to convert their religion.Hindu's were continuously targeted and converted. If no conversions of Hindus had taken place, today there would have been more than 700 crore Hindus across the globe.’’He observed
Pravin statement drew strong reactions from political parties.Just days before AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi has made similar type of comments and said that every child is born a Muslim and locked horns with right-wing Hindu outfits.
