Andhra Pradesh Government signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with over 40 Global and Domestic Investors at the Industry Mission program in Visakhapatnam. Investments to the tune of Rs 35,000 crore and employment to 72,000 people were expected from the MoUs signed.

Chandrababu Naidu: "Launched AP's Industry Mission. It will cater to growing needs of India. The Mission reaffirms my commitment to making AP investor-friendly."

State Government also proposed sector specific policies to send the message that AP is investor-friendly. All clearances for setting up new Industries will be granted within 21 days through a single-window clearance portal.

Japan, Canada and UAE has signed MoUs with AP Government for proposed investments in manufacturing, electronics, automobile, petrochemicals, energy, food processing and textile industries.
