Troubles for Nestle India weren't gonna end any time soon. After Maggi got banned in the country due to the existence of lead in the content, Now fungus and weevils were found in a pack of Cerelac Baby Cereal in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Sriram, a resident of Coimbatore, bought a Cerelac pack for his baby recently. The entire family received a bitter shock upon opening it as the content is full of weevils and fungus. The expiry date on the pack 'Year 2016'. It is yet to investigated if the contamination took place in just one cereal pack or the whole batch of the product.

Soon after the contaminated food was found in the new pack, A complaint has been lodged with the Food Safety Department. The authorities seized the sample and sent it to the lab for testing. Test reports are expected to arrive within a week.

Nighmares for the management and employees of Nestle India gonna continue for some more time. Brand image of Nestle took a severe beating due to the recent controversies and it could no more enjoy the kind of patronize it received all these years.
