Wealthiest Jeweller in India named

TS Kalayanaraman, Chairman and Managing Director of Kalyan Jewellers, has been named as the wealthiest jeweller in India in the Wealth-X Report.
It was in the year 1993, Kalayanaraman launched his first jewellery show in Thrissur city with just $100,000 capital. Today, He owns 32 such Jewellery Showrooms across South India and his net worth is $1.3 billion as per Wealth-X list of India's Wealthiest Jewellers.
Nirav Modi occupies Second Position in the Wealth-X list. In 1999, He opened his company 'Firestar Diamonds'. Today, His net worth is $1.1 billion.
MP Ahammed who launched his first Malabar Gold & Diamond showroom with just $70,000 comes third in the list with a net worth of $1 billion.
B Govindan of Bhima Jewellers and Vallabhbhai S Patel of Kiran Gems are the two others in Top 5 with wealth of $620 million and $590 million.
