Priya Anand who played CM's girlfriend in her debut flick 'Leader' was recently in news for sipping alcohol in a bar along with her co-star Vikram Prabhu. Please don't jump into any conclusion! This is just part of a sequence in her recently release Tamil flick 'Arima Nambi'.
As the scene became controversial, Priya came out in open to defend herself saying she went ahead with the sequence as director convinced her that it was crucial in the film's context. She, however, agreed the fact that such sequences are against our culture and traditions.
Surprisingly, The team of 'Arima Nambi' claim director has picturized the sequence in such a way that it sends a message woman are on par with men in everything.
