AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu urged state people for the acceptance of land aquisation for capital city. He assured its will be a win-win opportunity for both.Capital comitee urged 30k acres of land for building capital city which spread across 17 villages.
Speaking to media Chandrababu expressedbuilding a capital as once in life time opportunity. He said that the state government would pay INR 1.5 lakh to the farmers in the land pooling area as one-time settlement under waiver of farm loansto over come all legal issues. Adding to this he disclosed his plans on sharing acquited land in 25:75 for farmers and government. if a farmer gives up two acres of land, one acre will go to development. The other one acre will be equally divided between the farmer and the government. As of now government has no concrete plans on required land but it expressed at least 30k acres as initial requirement.
