Seems like actress-turned-politician Jayaprada is no more interested in contesting the next general elections from Andhra Pradesh due to the Telangana issue.

Earlier, The sitting MP from Rampur (Uttar Pradesh) announced she is keen on making a comeback in AP Politics by contesting as an MP from one of the constituencies in Seemandhra region. She was even in touch with YSR Congress, Congress and TDP leaders at one point of time. Finally, she choose to join ruling Congress. However, All of her plans to contest 2014 Polls from Rajahmundry MP constituency on Congress ticket got ruined with the decision of High Command on Telangana.

Anticipating defeat , Jayaprada is now eying Moradabad (Delhi) Lok Sabha ticket as the sitting MP and former Indian cricketer Mohd Azharuddin already appealed the Congress leadership to shift his constituency in the coming elections. Party leadership is going to take a final decision on Jaya's ticket within a week.
