Shapoorji Pallonji to invest Rs 20,000 crore in Hyd

Shapoorji Pallonji Group, a Mumbai-based firm with interests in construction and real estate among many others, has come forward to invest Rs 20,000 crore in Hyderabad to give a whole new look to the Capital city. This development is a blessing in disguise for Telangana Government which had plans of making Hyderabad a Global City.
During a meeting with Shapoor Mistry, Shapoorji Pallonji Group chairman, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao appealed him to invest in partnering with the State Government and the response has been very positive. Mr. Shapoor offered to invest Rs 20,000 crore for construction of New Flyovers & Grade Separators all over the city, New Secretariat at Erragadda, Kala Bharathi near Indira Park and few others big projects.
Shapoorji Pallonji Group and Telangana Government will be working on the modalities to take forward these proposals in the next meeting. If the deal materializes, Hyderabad will transform as a global city within the next few years.
