Teen suspended for asking Telugu based Miss America to prom

Remember the girl Nina Davuluri,the telugu origin lady who created sensation by winning the miss America crown. Now once again the hot beauty’s name hits the headlines and surprisingly this time it was for a witty reason.

An 18-year old high school student named Farves in the US state of Pennsylvania has been suspended after he asked Miss America Nina Davuluri to be his date.Davuluri, 24, was at the school to talk with students about diversity and the importance of science, technology, engineering and math studies.During the question-and-answer period that followed Davuluri’s speech, Farves asked Miss America to prom.

Davuluri replied maybe later and Farves cheered as he walked back from the stage.The school however did not take the prank lightly and suspended Farves for three days, saying the student had deliberately defied school administrators, who had requested him that he not ask Davuluri the question after they learnt of the planned stunt
