'Wrong' pen drive leads to porn being screened at bus stop

In a major embarrassment to the passengers waiting at the bus stand in Kalpetta, Wayanad, Kerala public TV screens played out porn content. The porn video played a complete 30 minutes in the TV set placed in the state-run bus depot of Kerala State Transport Corporation.
The porn show went on uninterrupted for 30 minutes before local officials disconnected the cable wires.The unexpected . the incident left many embarrassed and some even tried to put a cloth on the TV, but the sound couldnÂ’t be stopped. Mothers with their children, college girls and some others ran away.
According to police, the goof-up happened due to a mix up by the cable operator, who confused between his personal pen drive containing the porn video and another drive.The police have booked the cable operator Manzoor under section 292 of the Indian Penal Code (obscene and indecent advertisement and display), the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, and various sections of the Information Technology Act.
