Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is looking forward to visit Andhra Pradesh for the first time ever after the bifurcation. It might a gutsy or risky move as people of AP are still in the opinion Congress is the sole reason for the division of the state.
Rahul Gandhi is likely to tour Anantapur district by June end to console the families of farmers who committed suicide in the past one year. He will also meet the families who migrated from the region in search of livelihood. Congress AP-unit confirmed these reports Today.
In May this year, Rahul Gandhi visited Adilabad district to highlight of suicides and plight of farmers in Telangana. This padayatra has been received well by the people.
However, Rahul Gandhi's tour mayn't receive similar response in AP but its certainly going to attract the whole Nation.
