Here comes the good news for traffic violaters. The city police have discontinued the practice of collecting traffic challans on the spot. Don’t feel happy..Instead of that they are bringing e-chalanas into the force.

Hyderabad traffic police has launched e challan (Traffic Challan) scheme from today.Home minister Nayini today announced that police will not take challanas manually from now.
Violators can pay challans by visiting the traffic police website and they need to pay using net banking;credit card and debit card. The scheme will be soon expanded to other districts in the state.

Police create Traffic e challans with picture proof. There are two forms of e challan. One is generated with Investigation Cameras, which mechanically click the defilement pictures.Second form is with Digital Cameras

Public can pay penalties for traffic violations online www.htp.gov.in or www.echallan.org or at the traffic compounding booth at Police Control Room.An exclusive application has also been developed for smart phones users. They can download the Android APP ‘E-Challan Telangana’ through ‘Play store’.
