Oxford dictionary not requires any introduction and it is the most standard book that people reckon to search for word meanings. As part of their upgrade Oxford added some Indian terms into its latest edition. Indian's well known Chudidhar gets a grand entry into the book and also Dhaba, Bhel Puri and Arre Yaar.

As per the dictionary 'Arre yaar' could mean anything from 'hey dude' to 'you must be joking' in desi lingo. The Oxford dictionary defines churidar as 'tight trousers made with excess material at the bottom of the legs, which falls in folds around the ankles, traditionally worn by people from South Asia'.

Dhaba is explained as 'In India or in Indian contexts: a roadside food stall or restaurant'.Bhelpuri is defined as a noun to refer to an 'Indian cookery: a dish or snack typically consisting of puffed rice, onions, potatoes, and spicy and sweet chutneys, sometimes served on a puri.

Oxford added about 500 words this time in the dictionary. Having indian words like Chudidhar, Bhelpuri and Dhaba definitely excite us, no?
