Prestigious BITS (Birla Institute of Technology &Science) is all set to enter into Andhra Pradesh.Chairman of Adiya Birla Group Mangalam Birla yesterday met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu and discussed about establishing the prestigious institution in Andhra Pradesh state.
As per reports Naidu agreed to clear all the formalities through a single window and the institute likely to be setup in port city Vizag. BITS is one of the prestigious institution which recognized national wide.In all its four campuses — Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai — it offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes to over 12,500 students in various disciplines of science, engineering, humanities, pharmacy, economics and management.
This will be its fifth unit across the globe. Its already known that prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) was granted for AP few days back and it will also setup in Vizag.Kumar Mangalam also expressed his interest to invest in the new state. He expressed his wish of establishing a cement factory in Guntur and Chandrababu welcomed him.
