Its known that AP government is keen on taking the help of the Singapore in constructing the new capital of the reorganized state.Recently Singapore delegation visited AP along with the blueprint for new capital.Now a high-level team from AP government planning to visit the island nation to hold further talks.15 members team from Andhra Pradesh government is getting ready to visit Singapore.The team comprising of educationalists and bureaucrats leaving to Singapore tomorrow for its five day tour from Jan 19 to Jan 24. AP Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao formally gave his approval for the tour.

All the delegation will be trained by Singapore officials and they will hold talks with the government of Singapore on possible areas of cooperation between the two governments. All these members will be trained at Singapore's Centre for Liveable Cities (CLC). The government has already decided to build the state capital between Vijayawada and Guntur. Chandrababu recently said he would like to see the first phase of the capital city completed before the next elections.

The delegation includes several popular names like Municipal Chief Secretary A. Giridhar, CRDA Commissioner Srikanth, Police Commissioner of Vijayawada AB Venkateswara Rao, Vijayawada Municipal Commissioner G. Veerapandyan, Guntur incharge Municipal Commissioner Dr Sridhar Cherukuri, Guntur SP PHD Ramakrishna, Director of Town Planning Pothireddy Timmareddy.

Some other prominent names included in the list was Public Health ENC Panduranga Rao, Town Planning Additional Director Avula Suresh, Tenali Municipal Commissioner P. Gopinath, AP Application Centre Scientists A. Nageswara Rao, T. Narendra Babu, G. Prasad Rao
