TV Anchor Arrested @ Rs 5 crore blackmail

TV Anchor Harshavardhan has been taken into custody by Vijayawada police for allegedly blackmailing a person to the tune of Rs 5 crore.
Reportedly, Harshavardhan demanded Saint Joseph Dental College Correspondent Father P Bala to pay him Rs 5 crore else threatened to run a negative story against the college in a popular news channel. Soon, Mr. Bala approached SP Raghurami Reddy.
Based on the complaint, Special teams have stepped into action to nab Harshavardhan. At first, Cops took Father Loyk Babu who was involved in this blackmail of the TV Anchor. During interrogation, Loyk Babu revealed Harshavardhan is in Vijayawada. Finally, the anchor was arrested in Vijayawada and later handed him over to Eluru police.
Harshvardhan shot to fame with 'Crime Watch' program in a popular channel. He is a native of Thandragunta village in Beemadolu Mandal.
