Hit-and-Run Case: Bodyguard's Mom happy over verdict!

Ravindra Patil who was appointed as Salman Khan's Bodyguard by Mumbai Police Force after the actor complained of threat from Underworld is no more alive to feel happy about judgement delivered by Mumbai Sessions Court on 2002 Hit-and-Run case. But, The Police Constable's Mother felt justice was done finally after the court sentenced Salman to 5 years in prison.
Sushilbai, Patil's Mom, says her son's soul can now truly rest in peace.
The Constable's Brother Virendra told: "My brother was hale and heart before the accident. Accident and the pressure mounted on him had affected his health. My Mom believes it was Salman Khan and the immense stress during the case proceedings that led to Patil's ailment and death due to tuberculosis".
Ravindra Patil was sitting beside Salman Khan in the SUV at the time of accident. He was the one who filed FIR against the actor and accused him of driving under the influence of alcohol. Despite pressure from within the police force to change his statement, He was reluctant to do so and Salman's conviction proves he has done the right thing.
