Mohammad Kaif gets congress ticket

The Congress on Saturday announced its first list of 194 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections .As expected earlier Aadhaar chairman Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani, cricketer Mohammad Kaif and actor Ravi Kishan founds place in the list
Infosys co-founder and Unique Identification Authority of India Chairman Nandan Nilekani, tipped to contest from Bangalore South on a Congress ticket ad he will be officially joining the ruling party tomorrow.Nilekani will take on BJP MP Ananth Kumar from the Bangalore South constituency
Former cricketer Mohd Kaif is contesting as Congress' candidate from Phulpur, a constituency in Uttar Pradesh once represented by Jawaharlal Nehru.
Bhojpuri films star Ravi Kishen also got place in the list.This is for the first time in several years that Congress has finalized so many candidates for general elections soon after announcement of the poll schedule.
