Sri Lankan cricketer Mahela Jayawardene entered record books on Sunday superb 118-run knock in the 3rd ODI against India at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. He is now only the 5th cricketer in the World to score over Rs 12,000 ODI runs. The former Sri Lankan achieved this feat in his 426th ODI with a career average of 33.01.
Cricket God Sachin Tendulkar leads the top-run scorer list with 18,426 runs in 463 ODIs.
Ricky Ponting occupies 2nd spot with 13,704 runs.
Sanath Jayasurya settles at No.3 with 12,918 runs.
Kumar Sangakkara managed 12,918 runs to be at 4th place.
