TDP leader's murder: Six get life imprisonment

Six persons were sentenced to life imprisonment by a court in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh in connection with the murder of TDP leader Kanna Janardhana Rao in 2007.
The Sessions court in Machilipatnam town of krishna acquitted six others in the case. District Additional Sessions Judge G Subramanyam sentenced six persons to life imprisonment
S Srinivasa Rao, V Srinivasa Rao, M Rambabau, B Suribabu, S Chanti and N Muralikrishna were among who received life.Court also slapped a fine of Rs 3,000 on each one of them.
In 2007 Telugu Desam Party leader and then Nagayalanka Mandal Parishad President Kanna Janardhana Rao was hacked to death by a rival gang at Yedurumondi.Kanna Janardhan was murdered with deadly weapons when he was proceeding to inspect his prawn tank in a two-wheeler along with his nephew.
