Why TRS wants May 16th as Appointed Day?

The Centre has already made it clear June 2nd will be the Appointed Day for both Telangana and Seemandhra. It also informed the process of division will be completed by then and both the regions will be treated as two new states from then.
However, TRS party isn't happy with Appointed Day on June 2nd. As the results of 2014 Polls will be announced on May 16th, TRS questions what's the need of waiting till June 2nd.
TRS approached AP High Court seeking its intervention to direct Centre to announce May 16th as the Appointed Day.
TRS Politbureau member G Jagadish Reddy will be moving a house motion on Tuesday in this regard. Justive R Subhash Reddy will be present for the hearing on May 8th.
