Uber Driver arrested for Masturbation

Kolkata Police arrested a Uber cab driver for allegedly masturbating when a woman passenger was in the vehicle. This is second such incident in the recent past. Few days ago, A Delhi Woman alleged a driver of a TaxiforSure Cab behaved in an indecent manner.
A 25-Year-Old Woman who works in a mall located in South Kolkata filed a complaint with Bhawanipur police against the driver of App-based cab service. She alleged the driver has masturbated while driving her from Elgin Road to Netajinagar on July 8th evening. She also accuses the driver of taking a long route rather than an available short route and even threatened her with dire consequences when she complained.
Soon after the incident came to light, Uber suspended the cab driver and assured complete cooperation to the cops during the investigation.
Post the rape of a woman in December 2014, Nothing much changed and Uber has always stayed in news for all the wrong reasons. Hope, we could see the change one day.
