AK Khan appointed as ACB Chief of Telangana

Well known police officer Abdul Khayum Khan aka AK Khan has been appointed as the chief of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) by Telangana Government.Telangana government issued orders on Monday appointing Khan as ACB chief.
Till now Khan served as director general ACB of both AP and Telangana.Khan is an IPS officer of the 1981 batch and he earlier served as Hyderabad Police Commissioner. He also worked as Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation .
Khan is an upright officer and liked by all sections of society. Khan has got the sterling image as police officer and has got immaculate track record ever since his inception. He has also been the role model for many youngsters in the state.AK Khan took several measured to maintain law & order in Hyderabad. Telangana Government's latest move is like a token of gesture for his sincerity.
