Satyam Raju is now Qaidi No. 4148

Satyam Founder B Ramalinga Raju who was sentensed to 7 years in jail for India's biggest corporate fraud will be Qaidi No. 4148 in the Cherlapalli Central Prison. Mr.Raju's Brother and Former Satyam Managing Director gets Qaidi No.4147.
Soon after the final verdict was delivered in the Special Court on Thursday, B Ramalinga Raju and 9 Other Convicts in the Satyam Scam Case were taken to Cherlapalli jail after the final admission time. As a result, All of them were put in the admission barrack at the Manasa Sarovar block. Of course, They will be divided on Friday during the Admission time.
Prison superintendent K V Reddy informed that all the 10 convicts of Satyam Scam including B Ramalinga Raju will be treated as ordinary prisoners as Court turned down the petition filed by the IT Firm Founder urging for Special Class Prisoner status.
The Special Court on Thursday sentenced B Ramalinga Raju and 9 Other Accused to 7 Years Imprisonment each and a fine of Rs 5 crore.
