Bollywood Composer and Singer Adnan Sami was well known with his magical voice and he sung few Telugu songs in Devi Sri Prasad composed films such as 100% Love, Oosaravelli and Julayi. Now, the singer is in troubles as his visa expired last week.

The special branch of the Mumbai police served a notice to Adnan Sami on Tuesday, giving him a week's time to explain his overstay in the country. Sami earlier told police that he had applied to extend his business visa in Delhi, but reportedly failed to produce any documents to support his claim.

.Sami has been living in Mumbai since 2001 on a business visa, which he has extended from time to time. "My visa did expire on October 6, 2013. As per standard rules, I had made an application for extension of my visa to the concerned department of the ministry of home affairs in New Delhi on 14th September 2013, as they are the only authority to issue visa extensions.

Sami will have to get his visa extended before November 6, or he will be deported to Pakistan. If the singer himself want to leave the country without extending his visa, he will have to pay a fine of $30 for overstaying.His visa was reportedly valid from September 26, 2012 till October 6, 2013.
