Language problem for Telangana bill
X
Finally The Andhra Pradesh bifurcation Bill has reached the state Assembly. The most awaited bill was brought to the assembly from the state secretariat by a senior official of the general administration department amid tight security. The bill was handed over to legislature secretary Raja Sadaram. However, the copies reached the Assembly premises after the House was adjourned for the day to meet again on Monday at 9.00 am

Now one more controversy has been raised about the bill and this time it was about the medium that has used in the bill .The Copies of the Bill was in English and it had to be translated into stateÂ’s official language Telugu and Urdu. This again raises a question whether the translation has to be done in New Delhi by the Union government.

Otherside ,The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the assembly will meet Monday to take a decision as to when the bill should be taken up for debate.Telangana legislators are demanding that the house immediately take up the debate and if necessary extend the winter session, which is ending Dec 20.
