Bollywood film 'Oh My God' has been sensation ever since it hit the screens. The film was not just critically acclaimed and commercially successful, but also highly controversial as well. It is based on the life of a middle-aged man who is a non-believer of god and what happens when he is cursed by the god! While Paresh Rawal played the role of middle-aged man, Akshay Kumar has done the God part. This thought-provoking film in now coming to Telugu screens in the form of remake!
Suresh Production has acquired the Telugu remake rights of the movie long back! After several months, the lead cast has been finalized at last. While Rajendra Prasad will play the role of Paresh Rawal, Venkatesh would get into the shoes of Akshay Kumar for the Telugu version. Principle shooting of the film would begin soon.
With 'Oh My God', Venkatesh added one more film in his remakes list. He has been part of several remakes in the past and most of them were successful. Even his upcoming flick 'Masala' scheduled for November 14th is a remake of Bollywood hit 'Bol Bachchan'.
