Remember Simran! The actress who sizzled onscreen with her performances in Tollywood. Post her marriage the tall lady retired from movies and gave birth to a baby.Now the veteran heroine is set to return Tollywood after a long gap.She will be playing a key role in Nani starrer Aaha Kalyanam. She will be seen as a client of NaniÂ’s wedding planner agency.
‘Aaha Kalyanam’ is remake of Bollywood super hit film ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ .Yash Raj Films is entering South market with this film. The model turned actress Vaani Kapoor of ”Shudh Desi Romance” fame is debuting as an actress in Tollywood through this film. They are planning to release it in Telugu and Tamil on Feb 07.
The first trailer was released on 20th December 2013. But critics turned the trailer down saying Nani-Vani chemistry is nowhere a match to the chemistry between Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’.
