Cops raid Nagarjuna Pub

West Zone police raided the 'N Grill' pub (Road No. 36, Jubilee Hills) owned by film star Akkineni Nagarjuna on Sunday. Cases have been booked against the manager for serving alcohol beyond the permitted time and allowing the customers to stay in the pub post 11 pm.
Two other pubs which were raided are Movida pub at Radisson Blue Plaza hotel and Over-The-Moon pub at Daspalla hotel. Cases have been booked against the managers of these pubs too.
Raids have been conducted at Kismat pub in The Part Hotel (Somajiguda) and 10 Downing Street pub in Begumpet on lat Friday. Cops even arrested the managers of these pubs for violating the license norms and serving alcohol beyond the stipulated time.
In the recent past, Sexual Assault cases have been on a rise in the city and pub culture is said to be one of the reasons. As a result, Cops have targeted the most happening pubs and warned the management that their licenses will be cancelled if the violation of norms happens again.
