Hyderabad as Union Territory for 10 Years: GoM

Group Of Ministers (GoM) has reportedly included the Amendment of making Hyderabad a Union Territory for a period of 10 Years instead of the joint-capital proposal. A special package will also be announced for the Seemandhra region as it has to sacrifice the existing capital and the revenue of Hyderabad will be shared between all the three regions during this 10 years period.
GoM recommended these Amendments after the crucial meeting with Seemandhra Union Ministers of Thursday 1 pm. We have to wait and watch how the Telanganites will be reacting to these last minute changes.
On the other hand, Media reports say Congress High Command will be ask CM Kiran Kumar Reddy to tender resignation on February 8th or 9th.
