Rape attempt on Telugu Anchor

Now-a-days Inviting anchors to private functions has become quite common thing .In the same way, a Telugu anchor was invited to a marriage held in West Godavari to entertain them with some programs. Huge amount of money was also given to that anchor for attending the function.
The anchor, who known for her shows in various functions has accepted the request and graced the wedding bash. After her performance, she was given the special guest room to retire.
It was midnight where she was attacked by some unknown persons who were in drunken state. They attempted to rape her and the anchor was shocked and responded quickly by screaming for help. Soon, the family members came to her room and saved her. They were quick to apologise and also fervently requested her not to press charges.
