How did Tholiprema remix in GJG happen?

Director Vijay Kumar who scored a solid hit with 'Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde' that ended his 14 years struggle in the Industry says both Tholiprema remix and Kushi episode have played a crucial role fetching fantastic openings at the Box Office.
The young filmmaker opines it's a dream come true for his team to revive he blockbuster song in Tholiprema. "All of our team members are fans of Pawan Kalyan. Of course, Nithin is the biggest fan. The idea of Tholipreme remix was that of Nithin's father Sudhakar Reddy. We wished to see our favorite hero's song on big screen again. Though music director Anup Rubens preferred a new song, we forced him to compose the remix version. Nithin has given his best for the song," revealed the director.
"The idea of using Kushi scene came for actor Harshavardhan who has written dialogues for the film. Both the sequences have been received very well by the audience. We are planning to hold a special screening of our film for Pawan Kalyan," he added.
Vijay Kumar has entered into the list of promising young talents. Let's see if he ends up as a one-film wonder or finds a place in the top league!
