If the sources are to be believed, Prabhas is all set to play the role of King Prithviraj Chauhan in the period drama 'Bahubali'. The film is set in the time period of 1000 AD. Prithviraj succeeded to the throne at the very young age of 20 and fights several battles. While the protagonist falls for Sanyogita (Anushka), he has not so pleasant relationship with his brother (Rana).
Of course, we aren't sure if these is any truth is these reports or not as of now. Let's wait for the confirmation or denial from the film unit before coming to a judgement.
Bahubali is biggest project ever made in Tollywood and the budget of the film is likely to touch Rs 100 crore. This tri-lingual (Telugu, Tamil and Hindi) is in the post production stage since several months. If everything falls in place, Bahubali starts rolling in the month of May.
Rajamouli is making sure that this period drama matches the standards set by him with Magadheera and Eega. With a perfect script, good team and huge budget, our Jakanna is going to produce one more celluloid wonder.
