Acoording to the trade pundits, Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh's multi-starrer flick 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' leads the list of highest grossing Indian films in USA for the year 2013. Though the film is a multi-starrer, it was Superstar's brand image that set the cash registers ringing and made it clear once again he is the undisputed king of Overseas Box Office.
Top 5 Highest Grossers: 1. SVSC - Rs 10 crore; 2. Race 2 - Rs 9 crore; 3. Baadshah - Rs 7.2 crore; 4. Kai Po Che - Rs 7 crore; 5. Special 26 - Rs 6 crore.
Two of the Telugu films featured in the list, indicating the impact and the reach of Tollywood films in the US market. While Mahesh proved lucky for SVSC, it's Srinu Vytla's brand that worked again in the USA and have made 'Baadshah' a blockbuster.
With few more biggies like Pawan-Trivikram's untitled flick, Thoofan, Balupu, Iddarammayilatho and Yevadu in the pipeline, let's wish few more films makes it to the top 5 list.
