In a surprise development, the state government banned women from entering pubs, clubs and bars after 10 pm.

Here is the list of few more new guidelines passed by Excise DepartmentÂ…

1) Girls under 21 aren't allowed to enter the above mentioned places at any hour (Despite the legal age for drinking in the country is 18).

2) Pubs are not allowed to serve 'Free Drinks' for women at any time in a day.

3) From now, men and women will be served drinks only till 11 pm.

These stringent guidelines have been issued to all the pubs, clubs and bars in the state in this regard. This move is a step to prevent crimes against women and also to bring down the drunk-n-drive cases.

Congress government failed to give a convincing answer for targeting only women when a lot of cases of men involved in drunken brawls came to light. Of course, the Page 3 circuit willn't be happy with the decision taken by the government.
