A tense situation arose in Karnataka with fourteen students who appeared for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate(SSLC) testing positive for the respiratory disease.
As per the press release issued by the Karnataka government, 32 students who appeared for the SSLC exams between June 25 and July 3 were declared positive for the dreaded virus.
Earlier this week, a 10th Class students from Hassan area of Karnataka tested positive for the virus. However, he was found positive after giving his 10th exams.
Despite some states canceled 10th and other exams, Karnataka went ahead and conducted the exams. As of July 3rd, as many as 7,61,506 students appeared for the exams.
