The young and aspirational India is scaling ever newer heights. According to the IIFL Wealth Hurun 2021-list of the billionaires, there are 45 Indians who have become billionaires and are still less than 40 years of age. Not just that 13 Indians born after 1990 have made it to the list. All of them are self-made. Another interesting feature is that 51 of Indian billionaires are school dropouts.

The Hurun India says that there are 10007 Indians, who have more than 1000 crore wealth. This is 179 more than last year. Among the 40-year-old achievers, Divyank Turakhia with Rs 12500 crore is at the top of the list. He is followed by Nakul Agrawal of Browser Stocks with Rs 12400 crore. Browser Stocks co-founder Ritesh Arora is in the third position with Rs 12300 crore.

Ritesh Agarwal of Oyo India is the youngest among them at 27 years of age. He ranks 10th in the list of the young richest billionaires. His assets have grown by 40 per cent in just one year. Ola's Bhavish Agarwal is in the nineth position despite a bad year due to Covid lockdown.

Hurun India Rich List is a ranking of individuals with a net worth of ₹1,000 Crore+ and has grown to become the most comprehensive rich list from India. This ranking is being done for the last ten years.
