83 Percent Prefer Modi As Next PM: Survey

Times Group's Times Mega Poll Survey conducted from February 11th to 20th gave a clear picture about the people's pulse in the country.

Much to the shock of Opposition Parties, As many as 83 percent of respondents preferred Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister. Modi is still the Most Popular Leader in the country and nobody is anywhere close to him. Congress President Rahul Gandhi attained Second Position with 8.33 percent, Mamata Banerjee is at third spot with 1.44 percent.

When quizzed if Rahul Gandhi gained popularity when compared to 2014, Only 31 percent of respondents say YES and 63 percent choose NO.

59.51 percent of respondents opined NDA Government performance is very good in the past 5 years.

34.39 percent of respondents felt schemes implemented in the best interest of poor was the biggest success of Narendra Modi.

35.72 percent of respondents believe biggest failure of Modi is the Ram Temple issue.

While 17.5 percent of respondents feel Rafale Deal will have a negative impact on 2019 Elections, 74.6 percent told it barely affects the poll results.
