900 People Sent To Isolation After A Doctor Tested Positive For Covid

A tense situation arose in Delhi after a doctor of a mohalla, popularly known as a community clinic tested positive for the deadly Covid-19, and around 900 people who came in contact with the doctor have been quarantined as a result.
The infection chain started by a woman who recently returned from Saudi Arabia and visited the mohalla with Covid-19 symptoms.
Mohalla clinics are community health centers set up by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi mainly for the economically weaker.
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that they all have been isolated for 14 days. The Covid-19 positive cases have reached 36 in the national capital so far. The wife and teen daughter of the doctor was also tested positive for the deadly virus.
As per the official information, the doctor was exposed to the virus when the 38-year-old woman visited the clinic on March 12. Five days later, she tested positive. That day, the doctor was also admitted to the hospital.
