Uttar Pradesh: An Aide Of BJP MLA Reportedly Shot Dead A Man

Uttar Pradesh, once again found itself in the middle of the headlines, after a person was reported shot dead at a meeting. The incident is believed to have taken place in front of officials.



Going into details, the authorities held a meeting for allotting the ration shops under the government quota in Durjanpur village in the state. A clash took place between two parties and the authorities had to cancel the meeting.

The disputes between the two parties turned violent after the accused Dhirendra Singh, who is believed to a close aide of BJP MLA Surendra Singh has allegedly shot dead 46-year-old Jaiprakash.

Indian News agency Asian News International(ANI) shared a video of the meeting in which people can be seen panicking and running away from the spot.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a serious note of the incident and issued directives to suspend SDM, CO, and other police personnel who were present at the time of the incident.
