ABVP Dominating BJP In Telangana

Is ABVP, the RSS affiliated student organization that is quite powerful in the rural Telangana, taking over the Telangana BJP? It appears so. State president Bandi Sanjay himself was a former ABVP activist, while state organizing secretary Matri Srinivasulu too was an ABVP full-timer for decades.
Party's lone MLC Ramachandra Rao, who is seeking re-election from Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahbubnagar Graduates constituency too has an ABVP background. He was an active worker during his student days. Interestingly, all the four MLC ticket aspirants from the Warangal-Karimnagar-Nalgonda Graduates MLC seat are from the ABVP.
State secretary Premender Reddy, National team member Perala Sekhara Rao, Party's Alair MLA candidate Kasam Venkateshwarlu and Munugode candidate P Manohar Reddy are all from the ABVP. All the four have worked as national level leaders in the ABVP and in fact have worked at the same time. That they are competing for the same seat is another matter.
There are many more ABVP leaders in different levels in the BJP and most of the young cadre of the party too is from the ABVP. Mantri Srinivasulu and Perala Sekhar have led the ABVP in undivided AP and enjoy close relationship with most of the young leaders.
