AP Government Failed Control Attacks On Women: Vangalapudi Anitha!

Former Lawmaker and Telugu Desam Party(TDP) women wing President Vangalapudi Anitha has expressed her dissatisfaction over Andhra Pradesh not taking action on the complaint she filed on 'cyberbullying'.
In a meeting held in Rajamahendravaram, she lambasted the Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister for failing to control the attacks on women in the state, reports claimed.
Referring to the Disha Act started by the Andhra Pradesh government, she asked what's the use of such acts, when no actions will be taken on complaints filed on harassment.
She alleged that the government failed to deal with the harassment with an iron first and wondered if this is the treatment for a former MLA, then what will be the situation of normal women.
Vangalapudi Anitha has lodged a complaint about online harassment with the local police in June this year. She even submitted video evidence in this regard. However, no action was taken on this issue reportedly.
