AP Govt Shocks Employees Over Governor's Meeting!

The financial situation of Andhra Pradesh doesn't need any introduction. Probably for the first time in the country, the government is unable to pay salaries and other duties on time. The employees' unions tried their best in making the government understand their issues and problems.
With no other option left, the employees' unions met Andhra Pradesh governor Biswabhusan Harichandan. This is the first time employees unions met the Governor to take his help in addressing the issues they have been facing these days. This became a big debatable issue in the country.
The Andhra Pradesh government which suffered a big shock with this had shocked the employees union. Stressing that state employees meeting the Governor and complaining against the government is a violation of rules the government slapped notices.
The AP Government Employees Association (APGEA) representatives met the Governor a few days back in this regard and sought his help. Now the representatives received a Show-cause notice from the state government. They were asked to give an explanation on why action should not be taken against them.
As per the information, the government told the employees' unions that based on the information that appeared in newspapers and media the show-cause notice has been issued and asked the employees to explain why it was not a violation to meet the Governor.
It appears that meeting the Governor proved to be costly as they received a show-cause notice from the government. Let us wait and see what happens next in the case.
