AP Minister's Shocking Comments On Widows

AP Minister Ayyanna Patrudu made objectionable comments on Widows during the Janmabhoomi Programme in Chinnapalem of Buchaiahpeta Mandal, Visakha District. 'Bhartha Chanipoyina Variki Pension Adigithe Saregani...Dukkala Undi Pension Kavalante Ela? (It's fine if Widows seek pension. But, How could Women who are perfectly fit demand such allowance?),' he questioned.
Ayyanna added, 'In Villages, Few Women seek pension claiming they don't have husband. They, however, doesn't confirm whether he is alive or not but inform he has gone missing since 10 years. How could such people demand pension? Their Husbands left them due to the harassment they kept facing after marriage'.
How could Ayyanna Patrudu make such degrading remarks on Women, that too widows who were in a helpless situation? Is this the stand of TDP Government over offering pension to Widows? This isn't how someone in a respectable position should deal with a sensitive matter.
