AP Reports 1933 Fresh Infections And 19 Casualties

A tense situation arose in Andhra Pradesh with a record of 1933 fresh infections reported in the last 24 hours. With this, the total cases of the virus reached 29,168.
In the last 24 hours, as many as 17,624 samples were tested in the state and 1,914 locals were found positive for the virus. 18 members who returned from other states and one Foreign Returnee tested positive.
On the other hand, 19 fresh casualties were reported, which takes the toll of the total fatalities in connection with the virus to 328.
The total recoveries in the state zoomed to 13,428, including 846 fresh recoveries in 24 hours. The active cases in the state stood at 15,412.
Looking at the district-wise data, Kurnool district has the most number of infections with 3,405, followed by Anantapur and Guntur with 3,290 and 3,019 cases respectively.
