The spread of the virus continues to ring danger bells in Andhra Pradesh as the state is reported the highest surge of single-days every alternative day. This forced the authorities to tighten the areas that are the hot spots for the pandemic.

The authorities have tightened 47 wards in Vijayawada that reported the most number of cases. Reportedly, some other areas were also kept under restrictions given the prevailing situations.

With this, the authorities have issued some guidelines in this regard for the other state Returnees and they should register themselves on the Spandana Website who return from other states.

As per the data given by the health bulletin since the outbreak started, most of the cases were related to the other state Returnees of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana states.

Taking about other cities, Chirala is currently under the lockout as the lockout in the town was started from the 17th of this month. While the lockout will kick-start in Ongole from today that lasts for 14 days.

People can step out for emergencies and essentials from 6 AM to 9 and after that, they were not supposed to come out of their houses. In the hotspot areas, buses were also restricted as a precautionary step.
