The Capital row in Andhra Pradesh is still in headlines with both the opposition and ruling parties taking their strong stands on their views.

While the government is very firm to develop three capitals for the legislature, Executive and Judiciary each, the opposition is protesting to continue Amaravati as the state capital.

The most talked-about High-power committee will have the final installment of the meeting on the 13th of this month which was formed to make a final report on the recommendations given by the GN Rao and BSG committees.

While both the GN Rao and Bostan committees have given the reports in favour of the government's rule the meeting of the High-Power committee has got its own significance.

With the government speeding up the process to make Visakhapatnam as the executive capital, holidays were called on 17 and 18 of this month after the Sankranti vacation.

The government is awaiting the final call of the High-Power committee and once the report comes the AP Cabinet will make an official announcement ion the capital issue and the process is expected to be completed by the end of the month reportedly.
