The ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra started by the Gandhi scion Rahul Gandhi provided a big platform for the supporters of the grand old Congress to show their support. People across the fields are coming forward to support Rahul Gandhi. The left wing and people who oppose the Bharatiya Janata Party are also supporting the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Now the Bharat Jodo Yatra saw a glamour touch as Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar joined the yatra on Thursday. The yatra which has been going on for the last 83 days reached the Ujjain region in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. Swara Bhaskar and Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat joined the yatra.

It is no wonder that Swara Bhaskar joined the yatra. She is famous for her anti-BJP stand. More than her films, her political stand makes her stay in the news. No matter the BJP's decision, she opposes it and supports people fighting for it.

We have seen this after the Bharatiya Janata Party proposed the National Register of Citizens(NRC) and Citizenship (Amendment) Act exercises a few universities saw intense protests and Swara Bhaskar supported the protests.

Swara Bhaskar never misses any opportunity to target the BJP. Recently when The Kashmir Files film was dubbed as vulgar and propaganda' by Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid, Swara Bhaskar was one of the very few personalities who supported him.

The Bharat Jodo yatra was scheduled to cover a massive distance of 3,570 kilometers passing through 12 states. The ongoing yatra is a 150-day plan and has already covered 82 days. In the remaining days, the yatra will cover the rest of the kilometers. The yatra was started by Rahul Gandhi back on September 7 this year. The Yatra started from Kanyakumari.

Earlier film personalities like Amol Palekar, Sandhya Gokhale, Pooja Bhatt, Riya Sen, Sushant Singh, Mona Ambegaonkar, Rashmi Desai, Akanksha Puri, and Poonam Kaur took part in the yatra.

Poonam Kaur's entry into the Bharat Jodo yatra became a big issue and pictures of her holding Rahul Gandhi's hand became popular. The Bharatiya Janata Party targeted Rahul Gandhi on this. The issue was sorted out when Poonam Kaur cleared the airs on this.
